What does it actually feel like?
Warm first, then a slow squeeze and release around your eye sockets and out along your temples. Most people describe the first thirty seconds as strange and the next nine minutes as the best part of their day.
How warm does it get?
It sits at about 104°F, which is 40°C, roughly the temperature of a warm bath. Warm enough to loosen the whole area and mild enough to fall asleep in.
Does it work on my temples or only my eyes?
Both. The pads run from the inner socket out along the temple, which is where a day of screens actually collects. It is closer to a head massage than most people expect.
How long before I notice anything?
Relief from tired, dry feeling eyes is usually immediate. Puffiness and dark circles are slower. Give it two weeks of daily use before you judge that part.
How long do I wear it for?
Ten minutes, once a day. Most people run it right before bed. Some use it mid afternoon instead, after a long stretch at a screen.
Can I wear it with contact lenses?
Take them out first. The warmth and the pressure will dry your lenses and make your eyes uncomfortable.
Can I wear it over makeup?
You can, but the inside will pick it up. Cleanse first if you have the chance. The inner cover is removable and washable either way.
Will it fit my head?
The strap adjusts across a wide range and fits almost everyone comfortably, including over a bald head or thick hair. The cups are moulded so they sit around your eyes rather than pressing on them.
Can I fall asleep wearing it?
Yes, and most people do. It powers down on its own at the end of the cycle, so there is nothing to remember.
Is it noisy?
There is a soft pumping sound from the air pads, quieter than a laptop fan. With anything playing over Bluetooth you will not notice it.
Can I travel with it?
It folds flat, weighs almost nothing and runs wireless, so it fits in a carry on beside your laptop.
How long does the battery last?
Several sessions on a single charge. Most people top it up about once a week.
Is there anyone who should not use it?
Speak to your doctor first if you have had recent eye surgery, an eye injury, glaucoma, retinal problems, or any condition affecting your eyes. This is a comfort and relaxation device. It is not a medical device and it does not treat or cure anything.
Does it help with headaches?
Plenty of customers use it that way and find the warmth and pressure around the temples calming. We make no medical claim about it and we would not want you buying it expecting one.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is free worldwide. Roughly 6 to 12 business days to the United States and United Kingdom, 8 to 15 to Canada, Australia and New Zealand. You get a tracking number as soon as it ships.
What if it arrives damaged?
Email us a photo within 48 hours. We send a replacement immediately and you keep the damaged one.
